3. Financial account connections
Your card account and transaction information is central to Omney's service to provide personalized insights and recommendations. For example, Omney may analyze your spending to determine:
- Which cards in your wallet may be appropriate for particular spending categories
- Whether you may have earned more credit card rewards by using a different card
- Whether you may be underusing available card benefits
- Whether certain fees may be avoidable
- Which additional credit cards may potentially provide value based on your spending
Omney does not make lending, credit-approval, employment, insurance, or other decisions on behalf of third parties based on your financial information. Omney's recommendations are informational and are not guarantees of rewards, savings, approval, or financial outcomes.
Omney uses Plaid to connect to participating credit card issuers and retrieve financial information that you authorize us to access. When you connect an account, you interact with Plaid's connection experience. Omney does not receive your financial institution login credentials.
You can disconnect a financial account from Omney at any time through your Account page. When you disconnect an account, Omney will stop requesting new information from that connection. Information previously imported into Omney may remain in your Omney account until it is deleted in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our applicable retention practices.
Plaid's own privacy policy applies to information that Plaid collects and processes in connection with your account connection. We encourage you to review Plaid's privacy policy for additional information.

Compensation will never affect your personalized recommendations, however - we will always recommend cards that create the most value for you, even if we do not earn anything from them. If we receive compensation for a referral, we will disclose the relationship where appropriate.
Omney does not provide any of your data to a credit card issuer merely because you click an application link. When you leave Omney and visit another company's website, that company's privacy policy and terms govern your interaction with that company.
